All the important opening times at Oktoberfest 2025: When is the tapping ceremony, until what time does the music play in the tents and when is the last beer served? How long can you marvel at the Wiesn from above in the Ferris wheel in the evening?

The 190th Oktoberfest will take place from 20 September to 5 October 2025 on the Theresienwiese.

Oktoberfest:

  • Monday to Thursday: 10 am to 11.30 pm
  • Fridays and Thursday, 2 October: 10 a.m. to midnight
  • Saturday: 9 am to midnight
  • Sunday: 9 am to 11.30 pm

Oide Wiesn: 

  • Sunday to Thursday: 10 am to 11.30 pm
  • Fridays and Saturdays: 10 am to midnight

Oktoberfest: The opening hours of the beer tents

On the first Saturday of Oktoberfest 2025, the tents will open at 9 a.m., non-alcoholic drinks (except beer) will be available from 10 a.m., and at 12 noon it will be ‘Ozapft is!’ and the beer tapping will begin. With the tapping, the Wiesn 2024 is officially open!

  • Monday to Friday, the tents open at 10 am and close at 11.30 pm.
  • On Saturdays, Sundays and the public holiday on 3 October, the tapping starts at 9 a.m. and the tapping ceremony is at 11.30 p.m.
  • In the large festival halls , the last beer and music is served at 10.30 pm.
  • In the small tents such as chicken roasting houses, snack bars and café tents, the last beer and music is at 11 pm.

Exceptions: The Käfer Wiesn-Schänke and Kufflers Weinzelt are open until 1am, the last drinks are served here at 00:30am.

  • On the first Saturday of the Wiesn, the stalls open at 9 am and remain open until midnight
  • From Monday to Thursday (except on public holidays) the opening hours are from 10 a.m. to 11.30 p.m.
  • Fridays from 10 am to midnight
  • Saturdays from 9 am to midnight
  • Sundays and public holidays from 9 am to 11.30 pm

Oktoberfest opening times: Rides and showmen

It's usually no problem to go for a spin after the tent has closed.

The Oktoberfest fun of the rides and showmen such as the Ferris wheel, Toboggan, Hau den Lukas or Teufelsrad:

  • On the opening day, the rides are open from 12 noon until midnight.
  • On Mondays to Thursdays (except public holidays), you can ride the rollercoaster from 10 a.m. until 11.30 p.m., enjoy the view from the Ferris wheel or get a scare on the ghost train
  • Fridays and Wednesday 2 October are open from 10 am to midnight.
  • Saturdays from 9 am to midnight
  • On Sundays and public holidays from 9 a.m. to 11.30 p.m.
