Cleanliness around the Theresienwiese
The Department of Labour and Economic Development of the City of Munich is once again offering residents around the Theresienwiese a cleaning service this year to keep the neighbourhood as clean as possible.
Simply report soiling online
Anyone who lives near the Theresienwiese or in the surrounding area and notices that their private property, gate or house entrances have been soiled by Oktoberfest guests can report this at any time on the ‘Mach München besser!’ website in the ‘Oktoberfest’ category.
The responsible cleaning team cleans private paths up to the front door and driveways up to the garage door, but not pavements or public road areas. The cleaning team's area of operation is limited to the north by Bayerstrasse and Landsbergerstrasse, to the east by Goethestrasse, Häberlstrasse and Tumblingerstrasse, to the south by Ruppertstrasse, Lindwurmstrasse and Pfeuferstrasse and to the west by Ganghoferstrasse.
