Let's go to the 2025 motif competition
After the Oktoberfest is before the Oktoberfest: The City of Munich is once again looking for the best, most creative and most effective publicity motif for the Oktoberfest in 2025.
Now the poster jury decides on the motif
For ten days, all fans of the Oktoberfest were able to vote for their personal favourite motifs for Oktoberfest 2025 on the official city portal muenchen.de.Following the online vote, 34 poster motifs are now in the final selection.The motifs can be found under this link on muenchen.de
A poster jury consisting of nine expert judges from advertising and design and the Department of Labour and Economic Development (RAW) as well as six expert judges from the city council will now make the difficult decision as to which motif will become the face of Oktoberfest 2025.
What happens to the winning motif
The award-winning motif for Oktoberfest 2025 will be displayed online, on social media, on licensed merchandise and on posters. It will also adorn the official series-produced stein, continuing the series of coveted collector's steins that began in 1978. Since 1952, the City of Munich has organised an annual Oktoberfest motif competition, which is held as an online competition in cooperation with Portal München Betriebs-GmbH & Co. KG on the official city portal muenchen.de.
