Timetable for the dismantling of the rides and beer tents
After 18 days of festivities, the Oktoberfest will now be dismantled according to a fixed schedule until November.
Beer tents must be completely dismantled by November 10
Deadlines apply to the individual sectors by which they must have vacated the Theresienwiese. For example, brewery festival halls and other large-scale catering businesses at the Oktoberfest must vacate the site by November 10. Brewery halls and other large-scale Oktoberfest catering establishments located in the Tollwood Winter Festival area must be dismantled by October 31. This also applies to businesses at the Oidn Wiesn.
Coffee tents, chicken fryers, sausage and snack halls, and elevated rides will leave the Wiesn by Oct. 13, and the other businesses owned by the festival will leave by Oct. 6. Pole sites must be vacated by October 5. Until the mentioned dates also from caravans, pack- and machine trucks as well as other motor vehicles must clear the fairground.
Installations in the terrain, such as foundations and basins, must be removed, and all excavations and holes must be cleared. For waste disposal during the dismantling of the festival, the commercial and construction site waste disposal statutes of the City of Munich apply.
Crossing possibilities over the Theresienwiese

- September 4 (9 a.m.) to October 13 (12 p.m.) inclusive: completely closed.
- October 13 (12 noon) through November 1, inclusive:
- Monday - Friday: 8 to 6 p.m. free 6 to 9 p.m. free, but closure for 10 min from every hour on the hour.
- 9 am to 4 pm closed, 4 pm to 8 pm free, but closure for 10 min from every hour.
- Saturday and Sunday free throughout.
from November 2: passable without restrictions.
North-south crossing via Schaustellerstr.
- until August 20 and from November 2: passable without restrictions.
Depending on the progress of construction work, efforts will be made to reopen the north-south crossing via Schaustellerstraße earlier.
