The Münchner Wiesn-Stiftung

The Münchner Wiesn-Stiftung was set up by the Wiesn-Wirte and the breweries represented at the Wiesn. The purpose of the foundation is to support the needy and social organisations in Munich that look after the needy.

The foundation's first action in 2001 was to enable the Münchner Tafel food bank to purchase a new delivery van. In the following years, the foundation supported, among other things, the distribution of breakfast to needy Munich children, the care of traumatised children, meals for needy senior citizens and much more.
